Конструктикон для української мови

Конструктикон — це репозиторій багатослівних граматичних конструкцій мови. Створення конструктиконів різних мов — нова галузь лінгвістичних досліджень, заснована на теорії конструктивної граматики. Сьогодні широкомасштабні проекти зі створення таких ресурсів удосконалють граматичний опис англійської, німецької, шведської мов тощо. Український конструктикон сприяє цьому напряму досліджень і є відкритою пошуковою базою даних українських конструкцій.

Що таке конструкція?

Конструкції — це звичайні шаблони (або моделі), які структурують фрази та речення. Чимало описаних тут конструкцій часто засвідчуються в мовленні й властиві українській мові. Часто такі конструкції мають непрозору структуру чи значення, їх важко виявити та зрозуміти тим, хто вивчає мову. Наприклад, конструкція анiтрохи не VP, як у реченні Марiйка анiтрохи не змiнилась зовнi.

Для кого і для чого?

Український конструктикон становить інтерес для дослідників української мови, а також для студентів і викладачів української мови як іноземної. Ресурс допомагає детально описати українську мову та зосереджується на широко засвідчених лінгвістичних моделях, корисних для засвоєння тим,хто вивчає мову. Згодом ресурс також може служити потребам НЛП-фахівців, які розробляють програмне забезпечення для автоматичного перекладу, перевірки орфографії тощо.

A constructicon for Ukrainian

A constructicon is a repository of multi-word grammatical constructions of a language. Constructicon-building is a new field of linguistic research based on Construction Grammar theory. Today, large-scale projects on creating such resources advance grammar description of English, German, Swedish, etc. A constructicon for Ukrainian contributes to this line of research and constitutes an open access searchable database of Ukrainian constructions.

What is a construction?

Constructions are conventional patterns (or models) that structure phrases and sentences. Many constructions described here are frequently attested in speech and specific for Ukrainian. Often, such constructions have non-transparent structure or meaning and are challenging for learners to detect and acquire. For example, the construction анiтрохи не VP, as in the sentence Марiйка анiтрохи не змiнилась зовнi ‘Marijka has changed not a bit’.

For whom and for what?

The Ukrainian Constructicon is of interest for researchers of the Ukrainian language, as well as students and instructors of Ukrainian as a second language. The resource contributes to building a detailed description of Ukrainian and focuses on widely attested linguistic patterns useful for learners to acquire. Potentially, the resource can also serve the needs of NLP specialists who develop software for automatic translation, spellchecking, etc.
